In Foundations of Photography: Black and White, Ben Long shows photographers in what plight to develop a black and hoary vocabulary and explains the considerations to take into clearing up when shooting for this medium. The path follows Ben as he goes without ceasing location and explains what makes admirable black and white subject matter and in what condition to visualize the scene in provisions of tonal values and contrast more willingly than color. Along the way, he demonstrates more exposure strategies for getting the best images. Back at the computer, Ben demonstrates techniques because of converting the resulting photos into diabolic and white using Photoshop and other imaging tools, and offers tips ~ward printing and output. Exercise files are included with this course.
